2nd Annual Know Your Rights Conference

WHO: Parents/Guardians of students with disabilities, educators, providers, and other interested individuals.

WHAT: The focus of this year's conference is REMEDIES and RESOURCES. Steven J. Alizio, Esq., M.S.Ed., and representatives of each of the sponsoring organizations, will discuss the many different remedies and resources available for students with disabilities and their families.

WHEN: 6:00PM to 8:30PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

WHY: Parents and providers often don't know the many remedies and resources available for students with disabilities and their families. Among other things, we will discuss how to get the New York City Department of Education to fund:
*Private School Tuition
*Independent Educational Evaluations (e.g., comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations)
*ABA, SEIT/SETSS, SLT, PT, and OT (in school and at-home, including increases in services and enhanced rates for services by providers of the parents' choosing)
*1:1 Tutoring
*And more!
